# Create a folder

**POST /transact-workflow/v1/Folders**

Creates a new folder within a transaction for the user specified in the request body.

## Parameters



### Body: application/json (object)

- **userId** (string(uuid))
  GUID of the user creating the folder.

- **transactionId** (string(uuid))
  GUID of the transaction the folder belongs to.

- **name** (string)
  Folder name.
